What Failure Taught Me About Success
We construct success as a monument. Something to be erected, polished, and displayed. We study the blueprints of the accomplished, trace the scaffolding of their rise, and imagine that if we follow the plans precisely, our own monument will stand tall and unshaken. No one builds a monument by studying the rubble. Yet every single successful person I've ever met, read about, or quietly admired has one thing in common that never makes it into the highlight reel: They have spent significant portions of their lives as rubble. The difference isn't that they avoided collapse. The difference is what they did with the broken pieces.
