Stranger:  people are said to be complete stranger when both parties don't know a thing about each other.example:she might have seen him around,heard about or watched a film featuring him.Nevertheless if she does not have the same measure of information concerning him,then they are "partial stranger".             Acquaintance: This is a sernario where both parties have mutual but general information about each other.It is a relationship without much depth,barely going beyond exchanging greetings and general comments.Acquaintances often share a common neighbourhood,offices,place of recretion,religious gathering etc. They have no in-depth knowledge of one another.
